What is the Senior Symposium?

The Senior Symposium is a program for current 4-H Alberta Senior Members province wide. The 2022 Fall Senior Symposium will host a variety of hands-on activities and workshops with specialists covering topics including, but not limited to, financial independence, resume building, scholarships, career opportunities, and future planning. The Symposium also provides delegates with an opportunity to network and connect with other Senior Members from across the province!

Who can attend?

 Any Alberta 4-Her who will be a Senior Member in the 2022/23 club year.

Where will it be?

This year the Fall Symposium will be hosted at the St. Albert Inn and Suites in St. Albert, AB.

When is it?

October 21st – 23rd, 2022. Arrival is at 6:30pm on the 21st and departure is at 1:00pm on the 23rd.

What is the registration fee?

Registration is $175 and includes all food, accomodation, programming and delegate packs at the program.

Provincial Event Registration Policies

  • Online Registration opens at 12:00 am on the first day of registration and is available 24 hours a day until midnight of the registration deadline.
  • Registration is not considered complete until full payment is received.
  • All requests for late registration (after the Regular Registration Deadline) will be accepted at the sole discretion of the program lead and will be subject to an additional fee of $50.00 on top of the Regular Registration cost.
  • An administrative fee of 50% of the program cost will be retained on all cancellations unless due to extenuating circumstances. Cancellations received less than 14 days before the event start date will forfeit the entire registration fee unless a delegate replacement is available or extenuating circumstances are at play.
