4-H Alberta Judging Competition

Home / 4-H Alberta Judging Competition

The 4-H Alberta Provincial Judging Competition provides 4-H members an opportunity to challenge their analytical, evaluation and communication skills. Every day countless decisions are made that require use of evaluation skills. From what to wear, to what to post on social media, the process of decision making is done through observing, analyzing, and comparing your options.

Lakeland College in Vermilion, Alberta, is excited to once again be hosting our 33rd annual Canadian Western Judging Competition and this year is partnering with 4-H Alberta to host the 4-H Alberta Provincial Competition in the same event.

The competition will again include both intercollegiate teams and 4-H teams.

Changes this year include that the event will be a full day event with classes and oral reasons, and the event will include lunch and will finish with an awards banquet.

Details on the times will be released in the new year.

The classes to be judged will include both livestock and crop classes.

You can register as individual competitors or a team. If you register as a team Tracy will contact, you or you can email her at tracy.dietrich@4hab.com with your team members. All competitors who register as a team will also be entered in the individual competition.
