Here are a few communication FAQ's:πŸ€ The Provincial Communication event will be held April 9, 2022 and will follow pre-COVID rules and guidelines.πŸ€ Provincial Communication events will be open to Senior Members who have qualified through the levels (club, district and region)πŸ€ A club can facilitate their communication events as decided by their members - competitive /non-competitive. Please note that to move on to the next level, clubs will need to ensure their members have satisfied all requirements.πŸ€ There should be an open dialogue between all levels (club, district and region) so committees know the potential number of members advancing to the next level.πŸ€ Currently (January 11th, 2022), you have three options for organizing competitive communications events. In each scenario, regular competition guidelines must be followed to allow your competitors to advance to the next level:1. Secure a REP facility for in person competition-Allows food to be served-Follows current capacity numbers-Masks required- Double covid-19 vaccination proof or negative test required for entry for all individuals aged 12 and up2. Secure a Facility that allows β…“ capacity rules-Food cannot be served-Vaccination status not required-β…“ venue capacity must be followed-Masks required-Physical distancing required3. Organize a virtual event (zoom, google meet, etc.)-Follow regular competition guidelines-1st, 2nd, & Alternates may advance to the next level as normal -Next level competitions may be in person, so please ensure competitors are aware-No risk of cancellation or attendee concerns due to Covid-19 exposureπŸ€ Juniors and Intermediate level speakers are not eligible for the Provincial Communication Competition but are encouraged, if this is something that they are interested in, to enter one of the 4-H Provincial SALTT Virtual Project Showcase Challenges. These challenges consist of a video submission - topic provided, and are judged. Entries can be made on your 4-H profile page: www.4habregistration.ca/signin (more info coming soon)πŸ€ If you have questions about your organized in-person event, please contact your local AHS representative to ensure you are in compliance with current guidelines. For more information on communications activities and requirements visit the communications page on our website: www.4hab.com/communication/ ...
