JOB SELECTION, RESUME & INTERVIEW PROCESS
WHO?: Anyone registered to compete for the $500 member award
Anyone registered for the 2022 BEEP SHOW who wishes to practice their resume writing and interview skills
PLEASE NOTE* The Canola role with SELECT is a REAL role and they may be offering
positions to successful candidates who meet their criteria!

You will be contacted on or by May 15th, 2022 with your proposed interview time. Interviews will be held May 16th, 17th, 18th. While the Committee will do it’s best to accommodate your schedule – this is a short turn around time, so please watch your email and plan your schedule accordingly.
For those competition in the flock / member award competition, scores will be tabulated and provided to the BEEP SHOW committee prior to the May 21st, 2022.
PLEASE NOTE: You may only submit your resume / cover letter ONCE. Please ensure it is complete and error free.
Late entries will NOT be accepted.
Communications will be sent to you using the email you choose to enter into the BEEP SHOW registration. Please CHECK your email regularly!

4-H Member Achievement – Gracious & Appreciative!
Meet Lyndsey Peltzer (John Ware 4-H Beef Club, Newell District, South Region), the 2021 Recipient of the Southern Alberta 4-H Regional Light Horse Committee Centennial Scholarship.
Thank you so much for the opportunity to apply and be a recipient of the Southern Alberta 4-H Regional Light Horse Committee Centennial Scholarship. This scholarship will help in my post secondary education at the University of Saskatchewan where I am studying agriculture. I hope to continue working and expanding my knowledge in the agriculture industry. Thank you for investing in me and other 4-H members, giving us the opportunity to expand our knowledge in post-secondary education.

2022 South Region Multi Species Judging Competition – A GREAT AFTERNOON!

On Saturday, April 23, 2022 over 80 4-H Alberta members competed at the South Region Multi Species Judging event. After listening to clinicians, members worked their way through a timed judging event, placing and giving oral reasons for 5 classes – market beef, swine, market lambs, ranch horses and dairy cattle.

South & Calgary Equine Leaders – Learn To Do By Doing!
Three dedicated senior members alongside 16 dedicated equine project leaders participated in a full day “Equine Leader Training Clinic” at Silver Sage Arena in Brooks, Alberta. We can never thank our leaders enough for staying up to date with current training methods and honing their craft. Thank you, thank you, thank you for your continued development to provide 4-H members the best opportunities and learning environment possible!
This great joint leadership opportunity was planned by the South and Calgary PEAC representatives in conjunction with the South Region 4-H Light Horse committee members – we salute you!
