In a striking demonstration of innovation in science and technology, Mac Dykeman, a 4-H Canada Science Fair finalist from Langley, BC, took home two awards at the renowned 2023 Canada-Wide Science Fair. The fair took place at the Edmonton Convention Centre in Edmonton, Alberta. Dykeman's project, titled 'An Innovative Approach to Ammonia in Poultry Operations', proposed the use of Prussian Blue or Prussian Blue + Biochar as bedding additives in poultry operations for ammonia adsorption.
