NE Regional Council AGM – January 14, 2023 @ 1:00 pm; Watch Your Inbox for Details
  • This meeting will be held as a hybrid;( in person and via Zoom);
  • Location: 5615-48 Street, Elk Point, Alberta (Just north of the Co-op Cardlock in Elk Point)

 

NE Region Nominating Committee is Seeking Nominations for the following NE Council Positions
  • Secretary (2-year term; member welcome)
  • Treasurer (2-year term)
  • Provincial Communications Committee Rep (1-year term)

Reorganizing Tips
  • Pick a date and location for your reorganizational meeting; Be sure to advertise on social media and in your community.
  • Be sure to have current registration forms printed to bring with you (Available on the Website under Club Operational Tools)
  • Be sure to get all leaders NEW AND RETURNING SCREENED FOR GREEN
  • Be sure to have a project leader for each project
Reminders

If your club has not yet been approved, it’s likely that your leaders are not screened and trained. 4-H Alberta has been working with clubs since October 1st to meet these goals. If you have questions, contact your Area Coordinator!

An unapproved club means:
  • members / families haven’t received their welcome email
  • your members may not be eligible to participate beyond the club level
  • your club may not be eligible for provincial funding

Please reach out to your local Area Coordinator for help if you need it!

  • Regional Fees ($5 per member; based on prior club year registrations); due January 31, 2023

  • Interclub, District & Regional Events please remember to fill out an activity plan https://4-h-canada.i-sight.com/external-capture
  • If you have any new additions of Leaders or Volunteers to your club registration please add them to the SUPPORTER section of your club registration so they can begin screening and training.
    • To be a LEADER in 4-H, you need current screening (within the last 3 years) PLUS completion of Youth Safety Training and Commit to Kids training.
    • To be a VOLUNTEER in 4-H, you need current screening (within the last 3 years)
