Amanda Hardman

Youth Representative

“After completing 9 years as a 4-H member with the Stony Riders 4-H Club, I stayed involved as a 4-H Alberta Ambassador. As a member, I participated in events from the club to international level, including the 4-H Canada Science Fair, Club Week, Senior Members Conference and more. At the 2019 Selections, I was selected as the Premier’s Award Winner. I continue to attend and help with 4-H events as I finish my last year as an ambassador.

Outside of 4-H, I am going into my third year in a BSc in Agriculture with a major in Sustainable Agriculture Systems at the University of Alberta. As VP External in the University of Alberta Agriculture Club and Secretary in Ceres Alberta Women’s Fraternity, I find ways to contribute to the university agriculture community. I also serve on the Board of Directors of the Spruce Grove Agricultural and Heritage Society and the Canadian Agri-business Education Foundation.”
